Susan Pippert's design journey started as a client. Renovating three of her own homes, first working alongside professional designers, then taking the lead herself, gave her a firsthand understanding of the renovation process from every angle. She also took interior design coursework along the way, building on instincts she'd already developed through experience.
That perspective, knowing exactly what it feels like to sit on the other side of the table, is what shaped her approach. When friends and family began asking for her help and advice, Susan found herself doing the work she loved most: guiding people through their own design decisions. That informal start eventually became Susan Pippert Interiors.
What Susan loves most about design starts with the people. Getting to know a client, hearing what they want and need for a space, is where every project really begins. From there, the creative process takes over: figuring out the layout, choosing a palette, pairing textures, finding the one piece that pulls a whole room together. But the most rewarding part comes at the end, watching a client's dream or concept become a real, livable space they get to enjoy every day.
Susan brings both real-world renovation experience and a client-first perspective to every project. She doesn't believe in one-size-fits-all design. Every project starts with you, your style, your home, your life, and the design follows from there.
